Chronic bad breath – or halitosis – strikes millions of
people around the globe. Getting rid of this condition may
not be so easy, since there are a number of circumstances
which may, in fact, be its cause. While most people tend to
think of bad breath as an indicator of poor oral hygiene,
this isn’t always the case. When an individual prescribes
to a daily regimen of brushing, flossing and mouthwash
applications but still suffers from malodorous breath, it
can be an indication that something more serious is
happening within their medical or dental health profile.

In addition to other medical illnesses, kidney disease,
lung disease, liver disease, diabetes, carcinoma and
certain blood disorders can precipitate the onset of
chronic bad breath. Getting rid of this condition, then,
becomes much more complicated, since it would mean
eradicating the disease that serves as the catalyst for the
halitosis. This can be both costly and time-consuming – if
it can be done at all. In many cases, medical conditions
that lead to bad breath are without a cure, and the
condition will continue without the possibility of a
successful treatment. Some individuals, however, are able
to find a successful treatment plan through their primary
care physician or specialist who addresses the disease that
causes the symptom of halitosis.

Getting rid of bad breath is sometimes made more difficult
by dental health issues, such as oral cancer, periodontal
disease, excessive tooth decay, abscesses and other
maladies which effect oral health. When conditions such as
these occur, your dentist or oral surgeon may be able to
offer treatment that will diminish or eradicate the problem
of chronic bad breath. The repair or removal of decaying
teeth, for instance, can be addressed rather easily. Other
conditions, however, may prove a greater challenge, such as
in the case of oral cancer. In order to rid the individual
of bad breath, the cancer would have to be completely
eliminated, which isn’t always possible. Your dental
professional will be able to give you more complete and
accurate information regarding the treatment possibilities
for the more devastating oral diseases.

Since halitosis can have as much of an effect on an
individual’s social life as it does on their health, the
ability to receive quick and effective treatment is a
necessity. Enjoying a rich social life shouldn’t be
contingent upon getting rid of bad breath, but – in many
cases – this is all too true. People are sometimes
isolated, or isolate themselves in an attempt to hide the
embarrassing effects of their condition. As much as we’d
like to think so, our families, friends and co-workers are
not always sympathetic to the problem.

If you should find yourself among those who are
experiencing difficulty in getting rid of bad breath,
there’s new hope through the means of an e-book that’s now
available to the general public – at no cost and no
obligation. Visit http://www.bad-breath-resource.com for
further information on receiving this wonderful new book
that can mean the difference between ongoing halitosis and
the cure that you’ve been waiting for in order to reclaim
your health – and your social life.

Halitosis – more commonly known as bad breath – can strike
anyone, for any number of reasons. Though the average case
can usually be treated with brushing, flossing and a
mouthwash rinse, there are those who suffer from chronic
bad breath and expend a great deal of time, effort and
frustration in their search for an effective cure. This
often results in failure, since there are a number of
health issues which may be the catalyst for such a
condition. Individuals who experience the effects of
halitosis should seek intervention from their dentist or
primary care physician if they find that their attempts to
treat the problem are unsuccessful.

Often, chronic bad breath signifies a build-up of certain
types of bacteria that dwell within the structure of the
mouth, and your dentist may be able to provide treatment
under such conditions. There are a number of other
catalysts for the onset of halitosis, however, and these
may demand more aggressive forms of treatment. Included
among the medical causes of halitosis are kidney, liver and
lung diseases, as well as diabetes, blood disorders,
carcinomas, gallbladder dysfunction, sinus and tonsilar
infections, sinus drainage, post-nasal drip, menstruation
and certain foods that react to the individual’s chemistry
in such a way as to cause bad breath.

In addition, there are dental issues that may cause
halitosis, such as extensive tooth decay, oral infections,
abscesses, periodontal disease, allergies, xerostomia
(dry-mouth condition) and oral cancer. Though there are
numerous causes of chronic bad breath, fighting the
condition may be difficult and, sometimes, expensive. In
the case of cancer or diseases related to certain
significant organs of the body, treatment may not be
possible – or, if so, will be cost inhibitive, at the very
least. In those scenarios, eliminating the symptom of bad
breath means eradicating the illness that serves as the
catalyst, which may not be an option. Consulting with your
physician, dentist or oral surgeon will provide you with
more information that’s significant to your particular
case, as well as possible treatment plans that may be put
into action.

One of the by-products of halitosis is social isolation. In
addition to the medical problems that may be the cause of
this type of problem, the impact that it has on an
individual’s social life can be devastating. More often
than not, people tend to associate bad breath with poor
oral hygiene when, in fact, that may not be the case at
all. Even someone who practices a daily regimen of
brushing, flossing and mouth rinses can fall victim to
halitosis and, when that happens, it can cause severe
repercussions with family, friends and co-workers who may
be less than understanding of such a condition.

If you should find yourself fighting against the effects of
halitosis but haven’t found a successful treatment plan,
you can now take comfort in the fact that there may now be
some solutions to the problem.
http://www.bad-breath-resource.com offers a wonderful new
e-book that highlights the causes and treatments of
halitosis – at no cost and no obligation to the consumer.
You no longer have to fight the losing battle of chronic
bad breath. Instead, you can enjoy new hope of finding an
effective treatment and take control of your life once
again.

If you find that you’re becoming increasingly aware of a
problem with chronic bad breath, you may be suffering from
halitosis. Such a condition can have serious impact on your
social life, unless an effective treatment is found which
can eliminate the problem. Many people struggle with this
potentially devastating malady for years before finding an
effective treatment. Others never have such good fortune,
and turn to home remedies or saturate themselves with an
inundation of breath mints, mouthwash strips, chewing gum
and various breath sprays. This can be both inconvenient
and expensive, when you do the math.

While some folks can improve their breath through the
process of brushing, flossing and using mouth rinses, there
are those who find no relief through such efforts. This is
a classic sign of halitosis – otherwise known as bad
breath. Due to the build-up of certain bacteria within the
cavern of the mouth, an unpleasant odor develops, which we
simply refer to as bad breath. In the case of an individual
who suffers from chronic bad breath – or ongoing halitosis
– the oral environment is such that this bacteria
multiplies quite rapidly and can be the catalyst for a
malodorous event, and treatment must be sought. Of course,
chronic bad breath can also be a symptom of other health
problems, so you should certainly consult with your dentist
and, if necessary, your primary care physician.

Since the effects of halitosis have far reaching effects,
many people find that it interferes with their social life
and has a negative impact in the workplace. Most people may
not be so bold as to verbalize their displeasure, but not
everyone is as sensitive to the issue and may, in fact,
become cruel at times. As a result, those who suffer from
this condition find themselves on the outside of the social
window, looking in, rather than participating in events
that they might, otherwise, enjoy. There are those
individuals who have even experienced the horror of being
called in to the boss’s office and “spoken to” about the
problem, further humiliating them. Soon, they isolate
themselves in an attempt to shield the condition as they
continue to seek an effective treatment.

Dating under such circumstances can be the stuff from which
nightmares are made. There’s very little that will shatter
an individual’s confidence than the effects of halitosis.
Those who muster up enough courage to remain in the dating
arena are usually rejected when the problem becomes
apparent, and others allow the condition to control their
lives to the degree that they have no social life at all.
Though they spend a good deal of time fighting its effects,
they’re often unsuccessful.

If you’re among those who are afflicted with halitosis and
haven’t been successful in your efforts to find a
treatment, take comfort in the fact that there is now new
hope. Through the means of a no-cost e-book that’s
available to the public, you may find relief from chronic
bad breath and enjoy life’s pleasures once again. Simply
visit http://www.bad-breath-resource.com for further
information regarding this marvelous new book – at no cost
and no obligation, the only thing you stand to lose is
halitosis.

Bad breath is difficult enough to live with, but for those
with chronic bad breath, the limitations that the condition
poses on them can begin to impact their lives on an
overwhelming scale. Regular brushing, flossing and mouth
rinses don’t always provide the solution, and – in some
cases – even sure-fire home remedies or prescription
treatments from dentists don’t provide a cure. The people
who suffer from an ongoing case of halitosis – otherwise
known as bad breath – number in the millions around the
world. For folks such as these, the very quality of life is
diminished as a result of the negative impact of such a
condition.

In an effort to stop this embarrassing malady, those who
are victims of chronic bad breath will often suffer through
the inconveniences of popping breath mints into their
mouths on an ongoing basis and the constant utilization of
breath sprays or mouthwash strips. Unfortunately, this goes
beyond the level realm of inconvenience when they fail to
provide the much sought after cure. As a result, many
people try to combat the problem by cutting themselves off
from others, in an attempt to avoid the humiliation and –
in some cases – cruelty that often accompanies social
situations in which bad breath is an issue.

Since society generally views bad breath as a by-product of
poor oral hygiene – or the absence of it – those who suffer
from its effects are often socially ostracized. In many
cases, they exile themselves into the outskirts of
socialization rather than face the rejection of others. In
this way, something as common as bad breath can become a
debilitating condition, often with no cure in sight for
those who struggle with the diminished quality of life that
accompanies the condition. Isolation from family, friends
and co-workers is not uncommon among such individuals, and
life can become quite lonely, indeed, unless a cure is
found. Often, those who are afflicted by halitosis reach a
point where they become so discouraged that they give up
fighting against it and simply segregate themselves from
the rest of society.

The good news is that there’s no longer any reason to take
such drastic measures. Helpful information is now available
for those who suffer from chronic bad breath, which can
provide the necessary means to stop halitosis in its
tracks. This wonderful new aid – in the form of an e-book –
can be found by visiting
http://www.bad-breath-resource.com. At no cost to the
consumer – and no obligation to purchase anything in the
future – this may well be the most effective tool in the
battle to stop bad breath from overtaking the lives of so
many. If you – or one of your loved ones – has experienced
the tragedy of chronic bad breath, then it’s well worth the
time it takes to obtain a copy of this book and change the
course of your life. Freedom from halitosis may be just
around the corner – as well as the reinstatement of the
social life that you’ve deprived yourself of for so long.

There have been numerous products on the market for
fighting bad breath over the years – some effective, and
some not so effective. For those who suffer from chronic
bad breath, these may provide temporary respite from the
problem, but lack staying power. Others have found no
relief whatsoever from over-the-counter products, and – in
some cases – haven’t achieved success through the use of
products that have been prescribed by their dentists or
physicians. They become increasingly discouraged as their
attempts to find effective remedies to cure their bad
breath end in failure.

Since some people automatically associate bad breath with
poor oral hygiene, there’s a great social stigma that’s
attached to those who suffer from this condition. In fact,
bad breath can be experienced by even those who perform a
daily regimen of brushing, flossing and rinsing with
mouthwash. Due to the fact that halitosis – a.k.a. bad
breath – is the result of the build-up of certain forms of
bacteria in the mouth, it can be very difficult to control,
since certain environmental conditions may cause the
bacteria to rapidly multiply and emit a foul odor, commonly
referred to as bad breath. For millions of people around
the world, this is a condition that carries serious social
consequences, and which can’t be effectively treated
through the use of OTC products or home remedies.

In their efforts to relieve others of the effects of such a
problem, many people who suffer from chronic bad breath
will segregate themselves from others. As a result, the
quality of their lives is diminished in the areas of
employment and socialization – particularly in the dating
arena. This embarrassing condition can cause them to appear
anti-social, simply because they tend to isolate themselves
in order to avoid the embarrassment of halitosis. Since a
simple explanation would be awkward, to say the least, they
simply put their social needs on the back burner and suffer
through their problem alone, unless they’re one of the
fortunate few who eventually discovers a cure. Until that
happens – if, indeed, it does – they usually take the “lone
wolf” approach to life. The alternative – subjecting
themselves to the cruel remarks and jibes of others – is
seen as the greater of two evils and isn’t often the chosen
option.

If you’re one of those who have been struggling with the
battle against bad breath without finding relief through
common products, take courage. There are ways in which to
attack the problem and finally realize success. Information
is now available in a wonderful new e-book that can provide
life-altering results for those who have been living with
chronic bad breath. This book, offered to the general
public at no cost and with no obligation, may be found by
visiting http://www.bad-breath-resource.com. Regardless of
the types of products that you may have tested in the past
– or the various home remedies that are abundant in our
society – this book has something positive to offer to
those who haven’t found success when the challenges of
halitosis overwhelm them. At no cost and no obligation, you
have everything to gain by obtaining your own copy of the
book today – and significantly improving the quality of
your life.

If you’ve ever struggled with bad breath, then you know how
debilitating it can be to your social life. Instead of
focusing on matters at hand, such as work, holidays and
friendly get-togethers, you spend your time popping breath
mints and worrying about your breath – and that’s just the
beginning. Dating can be severely impacted by something as
devastating as this. Halitosis, the medical term for bad
breath, is a very real condition that affects millions of
people around the world, and there are a number of
treatments that have been employed in the battle against it
over the years.

Though everyone suffers from a case of bad breath at one
time or another, there are those who struggle with chronic
bad breath and its effects on an ongoing basis. Some employ
home remedies, others turn to over-the-counter products,
and still others consult their dentist if the problem
becomes unmanageable. In their search for a cure, many
folks become discouraged with the various treatment options
that are available for bad breath which have fallen short
of success. In some cases, those who are plagued by chronic
bad breath simply begin to isolate themselves by turning
down invitations to events and keeping their distance from
family, friends and co-workers. When that happens, others
begin to see them as aloof, unfriendly or completely
anti-social.

Strict allegiance to brushing your teeth on a daily basis,
as well as using mouthwash and performing flossing isn’t
always enough to kill the effects of bad breath. Treatment
such as this may be fine for the average person, but those
who are suffering from chronic bad breath often need to
take extreme measures. Brushing the tongue and gums doesn’t
always do the trick, either, nor do those home remedies
that have been handed down through generations of family
members. Regular dental examinations are certainly
necessary, but even when teeth are basically healthy,
chronic bad breath is sometimes still a factor.

If you’ve been fighting this condition for any length of
time, take heart in the fact that there are some forms of
treatment that have proven effective in the war against bad
breath. While your dentist may make suggestions or offer
some forms of treatment, don’t be discouraged if they don’t
appear to do the trick – no treatment is going to work for
everyone, but alternative treatments are available that
will help you to win the battle – and the real perk is that
they’re available to you at no cost!

An effective tool in the treatment of bad breath can be
found on the internet today. By visiting

Side affects: dry mouth (AKA halitosis)

Does you medication list halitosis (dry mouth) as a side
affect. Countless over-the-counter medicines and
prescriptions medications claim dry mouth as a possible
side affect. Dry mouth is a leading cause of chronic bad
breath (halitosis), which means your medications could
cause halitosis. And you wouldn’t even know it, unless
someone brought it to your attention, since most people
cannot smell their own breath.

Any medication or treatment that causes dry mouth or
reduces salivation, allergy medications, antidepressants,
blood pressure, and sinus medications all have the
potential to cause halitosis.

Chronic bad breath (halitosis) is caused by a number of
other factors which may have never affected you before, but
add another factor such as certain medications and you’re
soon victim of halitosis.

The other factors that contribute to chronic bad breath,
aside from dry mouth, include improper oral hygiene,
absence of flossing, your body’s tendency to overproduce
bacteria, a high fat or high protein diet, cavities,
consuming too much alcohol or coffee, and overusing breath
mints or mouthwashes. Do you do any of the above? (Be
honest, we won’t tell.) If you do, and you now take a
medication that can lead to halitosis, it is time to get
serious and look for remedies to combat chronic bad breath.
According to the Massachusetts Dental Association, a mind
blowing $10 billion dollars is spent each year to get rid
of bad breath, most of it on items that only work
temporarily like alcohol-based mouth wash and breath mints.
Here are a few home remedies to help off-set halitosis that
may be caused by medications.

If your medication gives you a dry mouth, drink plenty of
water. If you drink at least 8 glasses of water per day and
you still have a dry feeling, or chronic bad breath then
add lemon or lime to your water. Also try gargling with
water mixed with either one drop of Myrrh essential oil, or
grapefruit seed extract. This will help eliminate any
bacteria that are growing in your mouth and cause
halitosis. Use this instead of mouth wash, since the
alcohol in store bought washes will further dry out your
mouth making chronic bad breath worse.

If you are taking medication for allergies, a cold or sinus
problems, boil a pot of water on the stove and add vinegar.
Turn off the heat and inhale the steam which will clear up
you nasal passages, while the vinegar kills any bacteria
that can lead to halitosis.

Eat a balanced diet. Consuming too much fat, protein or
dairy can result in excess mucus and bacteria leading to
halitosis. Stay away from dairy and breads a few hours
before your bedtime as these create mucus that will form
when you sleep creating a haven for halitosis.

Finally, if taking medications, keep a food diary listing
what you ate each day and the state of your halitosis, if
any. Also note if you had excess mucus or a dry mouth. In
doing this you can keep track of how certain food affect
you, and your breath.

You may wonder, whom did you offend in a past life to be
punished with bad breath? Sounds dramatic, but that is what
bad breath (halitosis) is-dramatic. It wreaks havoc on your
day and social life and makes you self conscious to the
point of paranoia. When you hear a laugh in the office, you
worry that it is a group of people making fun of your bad
breath. Suddenly, the world seems to revolve around your
bad breath and fighting halitosis. The good news is that
fighting halitosis is easier than you think, so stop
stressing and read on (you’ll even learn about a bad breath
home remedy or two!)

Why did you get bad breath?

Every day foods, beverages, medications, and ailments can
cause bad breath, which is why so many people seek ways of
fighting halitosis. One day you might have fresher breath
than the sea air, but if you’re hit by allergies, post
nasal drip and a dry mouth well that fresh breath can
quickly turn foul. Halitosis is also caused by odorous
foods like garlic, dairy, and other foods that might be
caught between your teeth. Alcohol and alcohol-based
mouthwashes dry out the mouth, creating a breeding group
for bacteria responsible for nasty breath. Diabetes is
another culprit for bad breath, as are certain medications.
If you have breath, and continue to eat these foods, it
makes fighting halitosis a challenge. According to the
American Dental Association, halitosis is an embarrassing
condition that is uncomfortable for the person who has it.

Ways of Fighting Halitosis

• Monitor your diet. Avoid excess dairy or acidic foods
like onions.

• Brush and floss your teeth directly after each meal.

• If dining out, take a drink of water and swoosh it around
your mouth to break up any food caught between your teeth.

• Limit your alcohol consumption and cease tobacco use.

• If allergies and dry mouth cause your halitosis, one bad
breath home remedy is to gargle water and salt.

• Drink plenty of water to ensure your mouth stays moist
and doesn’t dry out.

• Another bad breath home remedy for fighting halitosis is
to chew on herbs such as thyme, mint, or cloves instead of
gum.

• Do not overuse mouthwashes as this dries out the mouth. A
bad breath home remedy would be to use lemon and water as a
mouth rinse.

• Don’t forget to regularly see your dentist for cleanings.

There are many ways you can develop halitosis, and when you
do it is your body’s way of saying, “Hello, pay attention,
here, you’re not doing something right.” And boy, does it
get your attention! That “something” you’re doing wrong can
be improper diet, a lapse in oral hygiene, sickness, or a
combination. Fighting halitosis is a match that has to be
fought round by round, but if you make some changes in the
products you use, food you eat, and oral hygiene, you’ll
knock halitosis out in no time!

Dealing with bad breath is annoying, frustrating and
embarrassing and if you’re reading this you are looking for
some answers. The fact is that different foods and factors
cause bad breath in different people, which is why we’ve
created a quiz to help people pin point their bad breath
triggers.

In the “Dealing with Bad Breath” quiz below, circle the
correct answer for each question.

Dealing With Bad Breath Question 1: How often do you eat
the following foods?

Onions:

at least once per week

several times per week

daily

Garlic:

at least once per week

several times per week

daily

Cheese:

at least once per week

several times per week

daily

High Protein Foods:

at least once per week

several times per week

daily

Unless you are on a diet, you probably don’t keep a tally
of condiments, foods and beverages consumed during the day.
That’s all fine and dandy, but certain foods you eat (or
over consume) can have adverse affects such as chronic bad
breath.

A chronic bad breath home remedy to help ease bad breath
after a meal is to chew on the parsley that garnished your
plate in a restaurant, or bring a small baggie of herbs
like fennel or clove to chew after your meal.

Dealing With Bad Breath Question 2: How often do you
consume the following beverages?

Alcohol:

at least once per week

several times per week

daily

Orange Juice:

at least once per week

several times per week

daily

Milk:

at least once per week

several times per week

daily

Soda:

at least once per week

several times per week

daily

That glass of wine each day may be good for your heart, but
it could also be the reason you’re dealing with bad breath!
Alcohol dries out the mouth making it prime real estate for
the bacteria that cause bad breath. Acidic drinks like
orange juice, and dairy drinks like milk can also cause bad
breath. People dealing with bad breath should cut back on
soda as it can rot your teeth and worsen bad breath.

Some chronic bad breath home remedies to help eliminate
these problems include drinking plenty of water with lemon
after consuming alcohol and rinsing your mouth with water
and lime if you drink milk.

Dealing With Bad Breath Question 3: Which of these oral
products do you use?

Mouthwash:

at least once per week

several times per week

daily

Breath Mints:

at least once per week

several times per week

daily

Breath Spray:

at least once per week

several times per week

daily

Gum:

at least once per week

several times per week

daily

The products you are using to deal with bad breath, might
actually make the problem worse by drying out your mouth.
Chronic bad breath home remedies you can use instead of
alcohol and sugar based products include rinsing your mouth
with salt water, or lemon or lime water and chewing on
herbs such as parsley or thyme instead of gum.

According to the Mayo Clinic, people dealing with bad
breath only receive temporary relief from mouthwashes,
mints and that chronic bad breath home remedies like simply
rinsing your mouth with water may be more effective.

Dealing With Bad Breath Question 5: Hydration

How many glasses of water do you drink per day?

8+ glasses

3+ glasses

none

Keeping your mouth hydrated keeps it from drying out. A dry
mouth is a haven for the bacteria that cause bad breath.
Chronic bad breath home remedies include adding apple cider
vinegar, lemon or lime to your water. These ingredients
will help cleanse your system while the water hydrates your
system.

Dealing With Bad Breath Question 4: Dental Care

Mouthwash:

after every meal

twice per day

once

Floss:

after every meal

twice per day

once

Rinse:

after every meal

twice per day

once

Maybe your dental hygiene isn’t as good as you thought it
was. Improper dental care can create a bacteria build up,
rotting food between teeth and eventually gum disease, all
of which make dealing with bad breath more difficult.

What Causes Your Bad Breath?

In the questionnaire above, answers to the questions
further down below may be the reasons you are dealing with
bad breath. Examine your answers and try to make changes
accordingly. If after making the changes and trying the
chronic bad breath home remedies you are still dealing with
bad breath, you may want to visit your dentist or doctor to
rule out certain conditions like gum disease.

What is chronic halitosis?

The most common cause of chronic halitosis (chronic bad
breath) is an oral condition such as bacterial build up in
the mouth, a cavity, or abscess. Another possible cause is
bacteria that produce volatile sulfur compounds on the
tongue which can occur either because your body produces
too much naturally, or from a high protein diet. Another
common cause of chronic halitosis is dry mouth. All the
conditions mentioned above are breeding grounds for the
bacteria that cause bad breath. But there are cures for
chronic bad breath which we’ll get into later.

To start, since you may be immune to the smell of your
breath, the easiest way to determine if you have chronic
halitosis is to ask someone you trust, like a spouse,
parent or sibling.

Causes of chronic halitosis

If your suspicions of halitosis are confirmed there are
some easy and effective cures for chronic bad breath, but
first you must know what is causing it. Some common causes
include:

• Odorous foods, foods high in protein and even coffee can
cause chronic halitosis.

• Cavities, decay, abscesses and gum disease can also
create bad breath.

• Tobacco use

• Alcohol and alcohol-based mouth washes

• Allergies, sinus problems and the common cold

• Infrequent or incorrect brushing and flossing

• Body over producing bacteria is another cause of chronic
halitosis.

• Certain medications or diseases

• Dry mouth

Cures for Chronic Bad Breath

So, what are some cures for chronic bad breath. The good
news is there are many.

• If you are due, schedule an appointment with your dentist
for a check-up and cleaning. Make him aware of the problem,
so he can check your oral health.

• Brush and floss after every meal.

• Drink plenty of water to keep your mouth moist. A few
times per day, while drinking water, squish it around your
mouth and in between your teeth to break up any food that
may be hiding.

• Add baking soda to your toothpaste to help kill odors in
your mouth.

• Stay away from alcohol-based mouth washes and sprays.
Instead make a wash using a couple drops of tea tree oil
and water.

• Trade in your breath mints for parley, cloves or thyme.

• Avoid diets high in fat or high in protein

• If you’re a dairy addict, cut back and see if this helps
your chronic halitosis.

Brush that Bad Right Out of Your Breath

Sounds simple, but a very easy way to get rid of chronic
halitosis is to brush and floss directly after every meal.
Now, this does not mean that people who suffer from chronic
halitosis don’t brush their teeth or have poor hygiene; it
simply means you may have to do so more frequently.
Flossing regularly will also help cure chronic bad breath
as it will loosen and eliminate any food lodged between
your teeth.

Can bad breath be treated?

Yes, but first you must identify the cause and then
implement the proper solution. If you’ve tried the cures
for chronic bad breath mentioned and you still suffer from
chronic halitosis, make an appointment with your dentist.
Your dentist will be able to pinpoint the cause of the
chronic halitosis just by the odor it gives off. He’ll know
whether it is dental, bacterial, a throat infection or
other causes.
